Commercial transparency
Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: August 16, 2026
What an affiliate link means
Hockey Price Hub may eventually earn a commission when a reader follows a clearly identified retailer link and completes a qualifying purchase. That commission should not increase the price paid by the reader.
Current status
The retailer and affiliate layer is still being built. Mentioning a brand, product or store does not imply a commercial relationship, endorsement or active affiliate agreement.
How links will be labelled
Pages containing affiliate links will include a visible disclosure near the recommendation or comparison. Individual links will use plain language such as “we may earn a commission from purchases through this link,” rather than relying on an ambiguous label by itself.
This approach follows the plain-language visibility principles described by the Competition Bureau Canada and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
Editorial independence
Compensation will not turn a retailer claim into evidence or determine a product conclusion. Research will distinguish documented specifications, repeated observations and subjective preferences. Where a commercial relationship could matter to a reader, we will disclose it.
Price and availability
Retailer prices, stock and shipping terms can change after we collect them. Future price displays will identify the market, currency, source and last verification time, and readers should confirm the final terms at checkout.
